Best Graphics Settings for Overwatch
If you want to go for serious gaming, playing Overwatch is a top notch game choice. You will need several things, that will provide you with great graphics so you can play it smoothly, freely and without any interruptions. There are some things that you should keep in mind while you are adjusting settings in Overwatch.
Resolution- you should set your monitor on your monitor’s best resolution and refresh rate for getting the maximum from the game, and for the top experience. You should always play on the full screen. So when you go to game settings you should select for example 1920×1080(144) where 1920×1080 is the resolution of your monitor and 144 is the refresh rate in Hz
Field of view- important thing while you are gaming because when it is higher it results in a wider vision to your right and left, and I keep the field of view on 103 always when I am playing overwatch for the best experience.
Aspect ratio- you should look at your monitor’s aspect ratio, and I use always 16:9. Aspect ratio does not affect FPS and my recommendation is to always use 16:9.
VSYNC- this technology reduces the tearing of screen and lags in your game. You should use this option only when the tearing of the screen is interrupting your gaming.
TRIPPLE BUFFERING- this option you should turn only in combination with VSYNC and if you have screen tearing issues.
LIMIT FPS- I will strongly recommend you to turn it off so you can have the highest FPS possible, for great gaming and without problems. If you have a strong monitor and strong graphics card you should for sure not use this option and let the game roll on it’s maximum.
Graphics quality- if you have good monitor and graphics card you should run this option in the beast mode because the best gaming experience that you can get is from the beast mode( all graphics settings on maximum). I always play it that way and it never gets boring.
In my opinion, if you want to go for decent gaming with Overwatch you should consider buying a good graphics card and great monitor for that purpose. If your monitor is good, your graphics card will run Overwatch almost perfectly and that is why you will for sure need a good monitor.

In this list I am starting with an expensive 34-inch monitor. This is new technology monitor, recommended for gaming with awesome features and great specifications. With 34 inches this monitor is ultrawide and that is why it is great for Overwatch gaming. You will have a full view of the situation and you will not miss a thing with this big boy. IPS panel will give you the opportunity of having great viewing angles with top-notch picture quality and without any picture melting or color mixing in different angles. With native resolution 3440×1440, it is an awesome gaming monitor for a full view of the situation and that is I think the best thing on this monitor. With 120Hz refresh rate, it will provide you decent gaming opportunity and you can go with medium settings without any problem, but for the beast mode it can be a little troublesome experience, but I think that you can try that. The only thing that I didn’t like on this monitor is the response time, which is huge for this type of monitor and it is 4 milliseconds, it is okay but I would like to see this monitor in 1 millisecond response time edition.

This is the beast, and it is from Asus rog series. Designed especially for gaming this monitor is great and recommended for gaming, with a lot of awesome features and options to choose from. With wide 24,5 inch screen, this monitor is great for gaming. It would be of course better if it was a little bit bigger but okay you can do nothing about it. The best thing on this monitor, in my opinion, is the response time of 1 millisecond gray to gray. This response time will provide you with top gaming experience and top graphics, without any question I think that you should put this monitor into the first three monitors on your buying list. The max brightness is 400 which is unbelievable great brightness, and seriously not expected from one gaming monitor like this. Resolution of this monitor is 1920×1080 and it is full HD which is really good because you can play games without any problems with FPS and things like that. And the final thing that has blown my mind when I tried this monitor is 240Hz refresh rate which is top, and the best refresh rate for this small monitor. I was shocked by the quality of picture and with great picture changing qualities. If you want to buy a gaming monitor with great performances, and for the quite low price, you should definitely go for ASUS ROG series.

HD Zowie’s XL series are the great monitors for gaming and they are reasonably priced. This 24-inch monitor is great for gaming in full HD, views are good and the gaming experience is awesome. With 1 millisecond response time it delivers signal extra fast, and the pictures are top, without any question. TN panel is the only thing that I didn’t like about this monitor and it is a noticeable difference between IPS and TN panel. Lights are different and viewing angles are bit worse with TN panel, and that is why I didn’t like it. Resolution 1920×1080 on the monitor with 24-inch size is good, and the gaming on FullHD is really great. Frames per second will never be the problem when you are gaming on this monitor because the refresh rate of this monitor is 144Hz which is great for beast mode, and you can start ultra gaming with this monitor. If you want you can turn this monitor into Vertical mode, which is a great feature if you need it for some drawings or even some games that you want to play in vertical mode. It is very flexible and a monitor with great colors. If anyone asked me if this monitor is good I would say that it isn’t. It isn’t good, as the matter of fact it is awesome with top specs for a gaming monitor and this one will be also on the top of my buying list for the monitor.

This model of the BenQ’s monitor is great for gaming. With the LED panel and 24 inches, it is really good for the great gaming experience. It is a wide monitor with a TN panel. There are two things that I didn’t like on this monitor, and those are TN panel and 2 milliseconds response time. Led backlights are also a great feature on this monitor and the colors while you are playing are great because the brightness is 350, and it is very good. If you are going for beast mode this monitor can provide you with decent settings with TN panel. Viewing angles are not so good, and if you are looking from different angles, you can have a problem with color mixing and picture melting. The 120Hz refresh rate is good for decent gaming settings and really if you are looking for lower priced, affordable and monitor that can achieve decent settings while you play Overwatch, this is perfect monitor for you. With Aspect ratio 16:9 it is perfect for Overwatch settings, and I will recommend this monitor to anyone who is looking for reasonably priced monitor for gaming.
